Celebrating Pride in Vermont
Vermont has its own unique Pride traditions in September. Learn more about this year's Pride celebration, including wellness events.
June may be when the United States officially celebrates “Pride Month,” but September is when Vermont’s pride really shines! Vermont Pride week will be celebrated this year starting September 9 through September 18, culminating in a parade and festival.
Pride Center of Vermont made the shift to celebrate Pride in September eight years ago as an effort to include our college population, avoid competition with neighboring events, and take advantage of our beautiful fall weather. We love that Vermont has its own unique Pride tradition! The more opportunities to get involved, the better.

Blue Cross at Pride
We have not been able to participate as a company in-person for the past few years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but we have really missed it. Through this event, we have met so many members who have been positively impacted by the work that we do, especially with gender affirming care. We are excited to participate in the parade and festival again this year. We hope to see you there!
